He has provided public policy advice with specific focus on environmental regulatory design to the federal government, provincial governments, the Canadian Council of Minister of Environment and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. Usman also provides commercial strategy and regulatory compliance advice to a number of North America’s leading manufacturing, consumer products and environmental services companies. He is currently a Director of the Alberta Beverage Container Management Board (BCMB), is an advisor to the Circular Economy Leadership Coalition and was a convener of Ontario’s Circular Economy Innovation Lab (CEIL). </p>
