Assistant Deputy Minister, Strategic Policy, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canadahttp://www.zwc.ca/archive/2019/speakers/Tom RosserAssistant Deputy Minister, Strategic Policy, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada<div class="ExternalClass34C9E01F425E483CBA79F08E9DA8CCEB">​Tom Rosser joined Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) as the Assistant Deputy Minister of Strategic Policy in January 2017.  He is responsible for leading on major policy issues on behalf of the Department including Cabinet and intergovernmental affairs, implementing the Food Policy for Canada, as well as economic analysis. <br><br>Before joining AAFC, he was the Senior Assistant Deputy Minister of Strategic Policy at Fisheries and Oceans Canada, responsible for policy development, Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs, communications, economic analysis and trade.
